- 12 point for the main text
- 10 point for footnotes
- Times New Roman
- Top right corner
- A header which includes your last name is optional
- Single-sided
- Double-spaced
- Use MLA formatting for in-text citations
- Be consistent with your method of inputting titles of books, articles, (ie: underline versus italics)
- Follow MLA rules for the works cited page
Information on the cover page should appear centered on the page in the following order (please do not use caps):
- Title
- Subtitle
- Name
- Thesis mentors
- Compared languages
- Submission statement
- A senior thesis submitted to Barnard College in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Bachelor of Arts
- Month and year of submission
The honor code should appear on the SECOND (#2) page of the thesis:
