For ages, we have turned to the poets to see how beauty can be squeezed out of pain, how clarity can be wrung from confusion, how engagement and meaning can follow the troubles that might otherwise lead to disconnection and despair. No one has come to articulate the mechanics of this poetic work as well as the writer and teacher Greogry Orr.
